I. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

PWPA collects two types of information from our customers and website visitors. With your consent, we collect Personal Data from you solely for the purpose of providing our services. We may also collect anonymous/non-personal information.

a. Personal Information

Personal Data is information that refers to you (or if applicable, your clients) specifically. With your consent, we may gather personal information from you.

The type of Personal Data we may collect and maintain include (but is not limited to):

  • Name (depending on subscription type)

  • Home province/state

  • E-mail address (depending on subscription type)

  • Date of birth or age

  • Sex

  • Income and retirement benefits

  • Certain behavioral information (e.g. expected future expenditures in retirement, savings)

  • Investment account information

The choice to provide us with personal and financial information is always yours. However, your decision to withhold particular details may limit the services we are able to provide to you.

b. Anonymous/Non-Personal Information

PWPA routinely collects anonymous/non-personal information. Anonymous/non-personal information is information that cannot be associated with or traced back to a specific individual or business entity. For example, our web servers collect some anonymous/non-personal information automatically when you visit PWPA’s Wealthscope web services. Gathered electronically, this information may include the pages you visited, the type of web browser you are using, the level of encryption your browser supports and your Internet Protocol address. The information we collect may be used for research and analytical purposes, but not before it is completely anonymized.

To help us better understand our markets, we may also gather information for analytical purposes by conducting anonymous customer surveys.

c. Cookie Policy

We use Cookies exclusively through web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). Any use of Cookies - or of other tracking tools - unless stated otherwise, serves to identify Users and remember their preferences, for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the User.

II. PROCESSING AND PROTECTING YOUR DATA

a. Methods of Processing

PWPA processes your Personal Data in a proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures according to industry standards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the business (such as system administration, customer support, marketing, legal) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers and consultants, hosting providers, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by PWPA.
